Welcome to HTFPConnect, the new blogging and social networking platform for HoldtheFrontPage.

You can use this site to link up with other journalists - colleagues, former colleagues and college mates - and to create your own blogs on the site. You can also use it to create forum topics, post to forums, and to post interesting web links.

To add content to the site, you first need to register and create a profile.

Once you have done this, you will automatically be given a blog and the chance to contribute articles for HoldthFrontPage - so if you've got something interesting to say about journalism, or if you just want to get something off your chest, please get blogging!

As you fill in your profile, the site will also ask you for your current workplace, former workplaces and where you went to journalism college, if applicable.

This will create pages that link journalists together according to their profiles and will also give you the opportunity to link up with colleagues, former colleagues and classmates.

Like its predecessor the Journalism Hub, HTFPConnect is also designed to be a news aggregator, pulling together content from a variety of online sources including other media news sites, journalism blogs, and prominent journalism-related Twitter feeds.

You can find out more about HTFPConnect here.
